Flokason Caruso Stereophonic Feedback Cutterhead
The Flokason Caruso is a fine example of Swiss precision engineering. It is another take on the good old 45/45 stereophonic disk recording concept, originally proposed decades before the commercial availability of stereo disks, and popularised by Westrex and soon thereafter by Neumann, with both manufacturers using this concept for the vast majority of their professional cutterheads. The Caruso head employs moving coil transducers with feedback coils, and represents the current state-of-the-art in stereophonic cutterheads.Share on Social Networks
